i know what i was before you
emptiness and feeling blue
but once i grasped your hand
you pulled me through the quicksand
i used to think the sun was blinding bright
but you radiate so much more light
no one but you could wear it right
to have you in all white
innocent and strong
you steal away life’s wrongs
to have you as my bride
to forever have you by my side
so this is just a short song
to say i’ve loved you all along
my life would finally be worthwhile
with you walking down this aisle
i’m not sure how to thank you
for everything you helped me through
you’re the angel that brought me back to life
the one i need to be my wife
so pretty in that white dress
an eternity of love and faithfulness
i’d have everything in life
every single thing if you’d be my wife
